Meet the doctor

Jaya S. Nelson, DDS

Dr. Nelson-Ellington is a member of the National Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, she is an active member of Second Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoys running, basketball, bowling, and traveling. She loves spending time with her father, Jerome, who has been a UPS driver for 31 years, and her mother, Eva, an optician at Illinois Eye Express, as well as her grandparents, who are very active in the community. She is excited to return to Danville! Dr. Nelson-Ellington has always wanted to return to Danville and give back to her community.

Experience

Dr. Nelson-Ellington completed her General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington D.C. She seeks out various continuing education opportunities to stay up to date on the latest techniques and trends in dentistry.
